About Us It all started in a little log cabin... just kidding. Our story in a nutshell: We're vegetarian, animal-rescuing, kid-adopting, Birkenstock-wearin' hippies who live in the country. In our hearts, we embrace the wild and wacky ways of true tree huggers. However, we have day jobs that require a modicum of professionalism. One day, I was talking with a local politician about my recommended changes to our local ordinances. He'd already read about my activism in the local paper, but upon meeting me in person, he seemed to appreciate at least a little of the logic involved and my professional approach. He thanked me for coming to see him and joked that the newspaper had made me sound like some kind of Tree Hugging Lunatic. I laughed at his little joke, but the idea took hold and festered until... well, here we are at TreeHuggingLunatic.com. I think I'm going to give him a free coffee mug for his idea. ;) I don't know if we'll be able to change the world or not, but at least we can have fun trying. I know I'm enjoying letting my arsty fartsy side get into the act by creating these designs, and I hope you enjoy buying them. Yes... buying lots and lots of them. Ha-ha! Okay, so the commercialism clashes a little with the whole hippie theme, but we gotta make a living too! Below are a couple of our designs.
